"Who Cares?" The Duane Peters Story

Although this killer documentary has been out for a while now I felt the need to talk about it.  Who cares? The Duane Peters story is a must purchase for any true fan of skateboarding, punk rock, Duane Peters, or any of his 5 bands.  Packed with legendary interviews and great early skateboarding footage this film is just something you gotta see!  ... you might learn something from it!

If you haven't seen it... Watch it!  If you have... Watch it again! Duane is a true inspiration to anyone who chooses to live life against the grain and not completely follow any of the social norms.  He's hit the gutter, risen, and lived to tell the story.

Stop by Duane's Official web presence and get the down and dirty on what he's currently up to!

Thank you Duane for being you!

Garageland: Art Show and Benefit for Strummeville, August 4, 2011

Garageland Art Show and Benefit for Strummerville was an amazing show with an awesome cause.  For those of you who are not familiar with Strummerville, here's a little information I took from the Strummerville website to bring you up to speed.
Strummerville is a registered charity that gives support to aspiring musicians and help to projects that help change the world through music.
Set up by the friends and family of Joe Strummer in the year after his death, the charity seeks to reflect Joe's unique contribution to the music world by offering support, resources and performance opportunities to artists who would not normally have access to them.
Great artists, great music, great venue, and awesome sponsors equal one hell of an event that you wouldn't want to miss.  For those of you who did, Too Bad! But you can still participate by supporting Strummerville by either donating or purchasing sone killer merch. http://www.strummerville/
Here's a little more information on the show and a few pics of the art that was shown.  Sorry for the poor quality... low lighting and an iPhone cam just don't play nice with each other.

Lucky Thirteen hit their 20 year mark and decided to commemorate it by throwing one hell of a party. Packed from wall to wall and curb to curb with bikes, cars, bands and killer art this was definitely an event worth attending.  Here's a little piece of what we got to see!
